KULIM, 7 February 2026 – Inokom Corporation Sdn. Bhd. successfully organised its first-ever Inokom Fun Walk 2026, bringing together approximately 2,000 employees from across the organisation, including teams from the BMW Kulim Plant, Chery Production Plant, Mazda Kulim Plant, Multi Brand Assembly, Porsche Production Plant and Supporting Departments.

Held within the Inokom plant compound, the event was introduced as an initiative to promote a healthy lifestyle while strengthening teamwork and connection among employees. The strong participation reflected the collective support from various departments and levels within the company.

Participants followed a designated walking route around the Inokom plant area, with checkpoints set up to provide better exposure to Inokom’s operations and facilities. The checkpoints included an introduction to the newly constructed centralised warehouse and the new Paint Shop 3. The initiative allowed employees to gain a clearer understanding of the overall manufacturing process and appreciate how different departments contribute to daily operations.

In addition to the walk, the programme featured karaoke sessions and lucky draw segments that maintained an engaging atmosphere throughout the event. A total of 23 lucky draw prizes were presented to employees. Among the highlights were a Yamaha Y15ZR SE motorcycle, an iPhone 17, and a PlayStation 5, which generated significant excitement among participants. Towards the end of the event, there was a surprise announcement by Mr. Syed Ahmad Muzri Syed Faiz, Managing Director of Inokom and Distribution Malaysia, that two additional Yamaha Y15ZR SE motorcycles would be added to the lucky draw, further energising the crowd.

Adding to the programme was a fruit festival, where employees were treated to a variety of local fresh fruits such as durian, manggis and rambutan, in line with the event’s wellness theme. The segment provided a refreshing break and contributed to the positive and lively atmosphere of the day.

As the company’s inaugural Fun Walk of this scale, the event marked an important step in strengthening unity and togetherness within the organisation. The Inokom Fun Walk 2026 not only encouraged healthy living but also reinforced Sime’s core value of Win Together, reflecting the spirit of collaboration and shared success across the Inokom community.
